GEENA DAVIS SHOW, THE: WHAT I LIKE ABOUT YOU (TV)
Summary
One in this sitcom about Teddie Cochran, a Manhattan event planner who also becomes a suburban housewife after falling for a widower with two kids. In this episode, Teddie lands Hillary Clinton as the speaker for a big fundraising event. However, the coup causes Teddie to miss Eliza's school play. Teddie makes amends with her via a bottle of bubble solution. Max thinks Teddie needs to prioritize so as to not miss the children's big events -- the next one being Carter's art fair. However, on the day of Carter's event, Teddie is granted a meeting with the former first lady. Freaking out over the conflict, Teddie selects Carter over Clinton. However, Carter is less than impressed upon Teddie's arrival at his show. Now, Teddie is upset that she blew off the meeting with Clinton for an ungrateful child. The next day, Teddie is forced to listen to Judy talk about the "life-changing experience" of meeting Clinton. That evening, Teddie tries to learn how to win over Eliza and Carter. Meanwhile, Judy and her best pal -- the other Hillary -- attend a workshop for women trying to attract men by withholding sex from them. After man-crazy Hillary is singled out by the disapproving instructor, Hillary retorts in kind -- and is followed out of the room by ever-loyal Judy. Later, Teddie uses some book advice and tries to get Carter to start a project with her, but he is uninterested. Sneaking into his room, Teddie tries to learn more about Carter, but Gladys catches her. Gladys offers her own words of wisdom. However, Teddie gets busted by Carter, leading to the two eventually finding some common ground. Includes commercials.
