TWILIGHT ZONE, THE: THE PURPLE TESTAMENT (TV)
Summary
One in this science fiction/fantasy anthology series hosted by Rod Serling. In this episode, members of the United States Army are stationed in the Philippines in 1945. Captain Riker and Lieutenant Fitzgerald soften the news of four deaths from the last offensive attack with a drink. The captain asks what is bothering Fitz, and the lieutenant confesses that he seems to have an ability to predict which men are going to be killed on any particular day. When Fitz predicts the captain's death, he warns his superior not to participate in the upcoming mission. Fitz makes a final prediction while traveling back to division headquarters for a psychological evaluation. Commercials deleted.
