SOPRANOS, THE: BIG GIRLS DON'T CRY (TV)
Summary
One in this darkly comic, dramatic series centering around the crime empire and family life of Tony Soprano, a modern-day Mafia boss. This episode begins with Christopher failing to collect money from brothel owner Dominic. Meanwhile, Tony brings in mozzarella-making, toughguy cousin Furio from the "other side," Italy. Adriana buys Christopher, as a birthday gift, a spot in an Acting for Writers workshop, which Chris reluctantly attends. Also, Melfi considers taking Tony back on as a patient after having a sexually explicit dream involving Tony, a horrific car crash, and "The Wizard of Oz." Janice tries to scam loan money out of Livia's old house, drawing the ire of Tony. Later, Tony beats up a wise-talking Russian while on his boat, "The Stugats," with Irina. At the workshop, Christopher struggles with a scene from "The Glass Menagerie" before nailing one from "Rebel Without a Cause" that really hits home. Also, Big Pussy talks with his FBI connection as he continues his "wired" mission.
