ANNIE MCGUIRE: EMMA'S EVICTION (TV)
Summary
One in this short-lived comedy series about a widowed mother from Bayonne, New Jersey and her attempts to keep the peace within her newly blended family. In this episode, Annie's activist mom Emma wages war against a real estate developer, Ned Tiegraber, who is trying to evict her and other tenants in order to tear their building down. Annie tries to help Emma by calling in some favors from her friends at the Landmarks Commission. After saving her mom's building, Annie learns that Emma had been planning to move out the entire time -- at her age and health she's no longer able to climb the stairs there. Thus, Annie is forced to find Emma a new place to live. Commercials deleted.
