ALIAS: A BROKEN HEART (TV)
Summary
One in this dramatic action series about CIA double agent Sydney Bristow and her adventures with her colleagues and her enemies. This episode begins with Sydney and her Russian nemesis Anna rushing to memorize a 500-year-old binary code written by Milo Rambaldi before it self destructs. The completed code leads Sydney to Spain where, once again, she fights Anna to gain possession of a gold, circular piece of stained glass, possibly created by Rambaldi. Meanwhile, Will continues to investigate Danny's murder, learning that Danny wasn't scheduled to fly alone. Francie wonders if Charlie is having an affair after finding a matchbook with a woman's name on it. Back at SD-6, Sydney asks her dad to dinner later in the week. For their next mission, Sydney and Dixon are sent off to Morocco to investigate a plot to eliminate the United Commerce Organization and identify a companion of Luc Jacqnoud. While spying on Jacqnoud, Sydney accidentally gets spotted by his bodyguard; the ensuing battle leaves her friend and contact Bak Ibrahim dead. At SD-6, Jack is given a psychic evaluation during which he is haunted by a dream of Sydney wanting to "find out the truth." Flirtations between Sydney and Vaughn continue to escalate as she learns that he is not married. Francie drags Sydney along to spy on Charles and is dismayed to see him with another woman. Will continues to believe that a romance is blossoming between him and Sydney before a second awkward kiss convinces him otherwise. Jack Bristow pulls out of dinner with Sydney, leaving her in tears and in the arms of Vaughn. SD-6's latest clues lead Sydney and Dixon to S‹o Paolo, the location of the next United Commerce Organization conference, where Jacqnoud sereptitiously drops a sedative in Dhiren Patel's, the Peace Prize winner, drink causing him to collapse. He is rushed away, by men impersonating a paramedic team, to a nearby warehouse where, as Sydney observes from the rooftop, a tiny bomb with a charge equivalent to 300 pounds of TNT is surgically implanted into Patel's pacemaker. Includes commercials.
