FUTURAMA: HELL IS OTHER ROBOTS (TV)
Summary
One in this satirical animated series set in New York City in the thirty-first century, when aliens rule the earth. In this episode, Fry and Bender go to a Beastie Boys' Heads concert at Madison Cube Garden. Later, Bender is pressured to "jack on" at a party and ends up getting hooked on the abuse of electricity. After his friends tell him that they are ashamed of him, Bender wanders the streets and stumbles across the Temple of Robotology, where he volunteers to "stand up and be saved." The next day he arrives at work saying that he has found religion and invites everyone to his baptism ceremony. It soon becomes clear that Bender has gone overboard with his newfound spirituality. Frustrated, Leela comes up with a plan to reacquaint Bender with sleaze. She and Fry take Bender on a fake delivery mission to Atlantic City, and he is successfully tempted back to sinning. Later that night, the Robot Devil shows up at Bender's door and drags him to Robot Hell. Fry and Leela trace Bender's trail and find Robot Hell in an old carnival fun house in New Jersey. The Devil informs them that, if they can beat him in a fiddle contest, they will win back their friend's soul. Commercials deleted.
