JOB, THE: SACRILEGE (TV)
Summary
One in this series about jaded New York City detective Mike McNeil and his tenuous grasp on professional and personal ethics. In this episode, Mike is incensed when he and Pip are forced to take the district attorney's twelve-year-old daughter Kimberly on a ride-along. Kimberly interviews Mike and Pip for a school newspaper article, and Mike answers her questions with bitter sarcasm. Mike asks Kimberly to get them coffee, after which she disappears -- leaving he and Pip frantic to find her before the district attorney realizes they have lost his daughter. Meanwhile, a nun is brought in after protesting against the objectification of women. When questioned, the woman flirts openly and ends up stripping and doing a table dance. Jan suggests that perhaps she's not really a nun. Frank interviews a Monsignor about a thief who has been stealing from the church donations. When the Monsignor excuses himself, Frank dresses up as a priest and takes confessions -- getting just the confession he was looking for. Includes commercials. This program is closed-captioned.
