CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM: THE DOLL (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series in which producer/comedian Larry David plays a slightly exaggerated version of himself who often ends up embroiled in misunderstandings and social faux pas. In this episode, Larry must follow doctor's orders and drink eight glasses of water a day, causing him to log a lot of bathroom time. After a good pitch, Larry gets his Julia Louis-Dreyfus program green lighted by ABC executive Lane Michaelson. Now that Larry's part of the "ABC family," Michaelson invites him to the next night's special screening of a Harriet Beecher Stowe miniseries, and Larry begrudgingly accepts. At that night's screening a woman who is not an usher tells him he can't take his water into the theater, aggravating Larry. After the screening, at the Michaelson's house, Larry encounters a bathroom without a lock, causing him to venture upstairs to find another bathroom. While upstairs, the Michaelson's young daughter talks Larry into cutting her doll Judy's hair. When Lane's wife Anne finds out about Judy's new hairstyle, she erupts at Larry, sending him and Jeff into a search for a new Judy head.
