GEORGE LOPEZ: PROTOTYPE {SERIES PREMIERE} (TV)
Summary
The premiere in this comedy series, set in Los Angeles, in which comedian George Lopez plays family man "George Lopez." In this episode, George, a former aviation parts assembly line worker, begins his first day as manager of the plant. George's boss immediately presents him with the conundrum of having to either fire his best friend Ernie or his mother Benny. Meanwhile, his wife Angie is dismayed to find that daughter Carmen has been skipping swim classes by giving the teacher forged notes. Unable to figure out why, George coerces the reason from her with the threat of his "chili dog and coffee" fueled flatulence. As decision time on the firing arrives, George learns -- much to his fury -- that he was just being tested. Includes commercials.
