AS THE WORLD TURNS {JAKE DIES} (TV)
Summary
One in this long-running daytime serial, set in the midwestern town of Oakdale. In this episode, Simon tells Katie they must leave Oakdale. After some hesitation, she agrees. All the while, Henry eavesdrops on their conversation. When Simon leaves to take care of something, Katie goes with Henry, leaving a note for Simon explaining that she just can't trust him right now. Jack shows up at Craig's apartment, where he reprimands Craig for going after Carly's sister Rosanna. Caleb demands that Aaron return to Seattle with him and speaks privately with Holden about circumstances at home. Holden and Aaron go to the hospital after hearing about Jake, who is in critical condition after being shot. Asleep in the waiting room, Molly dreams of dancing with Jake and saying good-bye to him. Rose tells Carly that Barbara is to blame for what Stenbeck did to them. Rose and Carly work together on sketches of the people who held them hostage. Jake's heart stops, and the doctors' efforts to resuscitate him fail. Molly is devastated at the loss of her husband. Commercials deleted.
