Summary
One in this long-running daytime serial about the residents of the midwestern town of Springfield. In this episode, Harley's family catches her kissing Gus in the bushes. They confront her and voice their disapproval of Gus, explaining that they don't want to see her get hurt. Tony's brother tells Tony the truth about Catalina's lies. Tony is shocked to discover that his baby is dead, and he rushes out to confront his wife. During an argument, Catalina pushes Marah, who falls to the ground after banging her head against the wall. Panicked and with no idea what to do, Catalina is relieved to see a friend whose face is not revealed. Behind Catalina's back, the friend picks up a heavy statue and knocks Catalina over the head with it. Holly tells Ross it's only a matter of time before Blake comes around and forgives him for having an affair. Blake confronts Tory, who everyone thinks is dead, in an abandoned building. Tory doesn't know how to respond when Blake tells her she can have Ross for herself. After Blake attempts to catch Tory with a makeshift weapon, Tory releases a trap door and Blake falls to a dungeon below. Commercials deleted.
(The title of this series was "The Guiding Light" on radio from 1937 to 1956 and on television from 1952 to 1977; in 1977 the title was changed to "Guiding Light.")
