GUIDING LIGHT {ED BAUER RETURNS TO SPRINGFIELD} (TV)
Summary
One in this long-running daytime serial about the residents of the midwestern town of Springfield. In this episode, Tony is in jail for the murder of Catalina Quesada -- until Romeo shows up at the station and confesses to the crime. The district attorney doubts Romeo's story, but they are forced to release Tony; Tony and Marah are reunited. After the confession, Carmen confronts Romeo, and clearly there is some kind of scheme afoot. At Rick and Mel's wedding, Rick's long-lost father Ed unexpectedly shows up. Everyone is elated; the wedding continues, and eventually Philip leads the happy honeymooners to a custom suite at the hospital, due to Rick's current medical condition. At Michelle and Danny's house, Michelle asks her father repeatedly where he has been for so many years, but he avoids her inquiries and gives only vague responses. Commercials deleted.
