Summary
One in this Australian series about the city-dwelling Taylor family and their relatives from the country the Todd family, who, discontent with their environments, decide to swap houses. In this episode, Marissa refuses to move to the country and runs away to live with her boyfriend Skid. Liz goes to Skid's place to retrieve Marissa, expecting to find an amoral drug dealer, but instead finds a courteous, loving man who prods Marissa into going back home with mother. Meanwhile, Kim plans on enacting revenge on the bullies before the big move; Jason's band dumps him; and John heeds a neighbor's warning and considers a vasectomy. In the country, Pip, eager to move to the city, starts singing a different tune after Sandra tells her that Jack the family dog can't come with them; Sandra, in the hopes of getting a recommendation from her boss, invites him to dinner. With Katy on his mind, Jason decides to go to the country early to drop off a tape of his love songs in Katy's mailbox, only to have it secretly intercepted by her protective mother Isabelle. The episode ends with Tom learning second-hand of the Todd's move; Marissa taking care of the bullies for Kim; Jason finding himself in a surprise interview with Isabelle; and John going under the knife.
