IN THE SPOTLIGHT: BOB DYLAN: THIRTIETH (30TH) ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION {TAPE 2 OF 2} (TV)

Continued from T:74146. Tape two of two. One in this series which showcases the body of work of a popular musician. This production is keyed to singer/songwriter Bob Dylan's thirtieth year in the music business. The show continues with clips of Dylan as he performs "Tangled Up in Blue," then returns to the Madison Square Garden event. The program, which incorporates musicians' anecdotes about Dylan, goes on to include the following: "Seven Days," performed by Ron Wood; "Boots of Spanish Leather" by Nancy Griffith and Carolyn Hester; "I Shall Be Released" by Chrissie Hynde; "Just Like a Woman" by Richie Havens; "Love Minus Zero/No Limit" and "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right" by Eric Clapton; "Emotionally Yours" by The O'Jays; "When I Paint My Masterpiece" by The Band; "You Ain't Goin' Nowhere" by Rosanne Cash, Mary Chapin Carpenter; and Shawn Colvin; "Absolutely Sweet Marie" by George Harrison; "License to Kill" and "Rainy Day Women No. 12 and 35" by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers; and "Mr. Tambourine Man" by Roger McGuinn. Harrison then introduces Dylan, who receives a standing ovation before singing "Girl from the North Country" and "It's Alright Ma (I'm Only Bleeding.)" Dylan is then joined on stage by McGuinn, Petty, Clapton, Harrison, Neil Young, and G.E. Smith for "My Back Pages." The evening concludes as all of the evening's musicians, including Sinead O'Connor, join Dylan to sing "Knockin' on Heaven's Door."
