Summary

One in this series of cooking shows featuring Italian cooking and hosted by Vincent Schiavelli. Schiavelli introduces the program which focuses on Italian deserts. Then, he assists as chef Nick Malgieri prepares wheat berry and ricotta pie, a traditional Easter cake in southern Italy. Next, Schiavelli assists chef Nancy Harmon Jenkins as she prepares a Tuscan Apple Yogurt Cake. Jenkins also briefly explains how to make a goat cheese dessert with a honey-orange sauce. The program closes as Schiavelli shares memories of his childhood in Brooklyn, New York.
