LIFE WITH BONNIE: CHRISTMASTIME IN THE CITY (TV)

Summary

One in this comedy series starring Bonnie Hunt as Bonnie Molloy, a Chicago woman juggling parenthood with her television career. In this episode, Bonnie and Samantha bake cookies and talk about Samantha's upcoming school play. Meanwhile, Charlie helps Mark with the outside Christmas lights. Later, Mark suggests to Bonnie that they not travel to Wisconsin for Christmas with his family. Later, on her show, Bonnie talks with Tony about Chicago's recent blizzard. Then, Samantha, Charlie, Connor, Frankie, and Jeffery perform a scene from their school play. After the show, Bonnie and her crew help on a canned food drive while talking about the snow storm. She also finds herself inviting Holly, Tony, Marv, and David to her house for Christmas Eve. That evening, everyone gathers at Bonnie's house as the blizzard gets worse. Meanwhile, Charlie excitedly waits for Santa's arrival. Bonnie asks everyone to spend the night due to the inclement weather. David finally arrives after drinking alone all evening. Bonnie tries to console David with a talk. Long after midnight, Charlie believes that he sees Santa, but it is actually just the rotund Tony in his red flannel pajamas. In the morning, everyone prepares breakfast and they even manage to get a slight smile out of David. Includes commercials.
