SOPRANOS, THE: PIE-O-MY (TV)
Summary
One in this darkly comic, dramatic series centering around the crime empire and family of Tony Soprano, a modern-day Mafia boss. In this episode, Adriana's paranoia mounts as the FBI begins dictating her life, wanting her to spy on Tony. Meanwhile, Janice tries to penetrate the Bacalieri family, hoping to replace the deceased Karen in Bacala's life. Also, Carmela asks Tony for $10,000 for investment purposes, introducing him to her stockbroker cousin Brian. Ralphie invests money in a race horse, Pie-O-My, which keeps losing until Tony recommends a strategy and produces a win, earning him a "taste" of the pie. Junior continues his RICO trial, while Bacala finally gets back to work. The episode ends with Pie-O-My becoming very sick, leaving Tony to care for her as Ralphie holes up with his mistress.
