STANLEY: DADDY PRIDE/SHOW AND TELL SHARK (TV)
Summary
One in this animated children's series about a little boy named Stanley and his adventures learning about animals. In the first story of this two-story episode, "Daddy Pride," Stanley is upset that his playtime with his father is interrupted by a business call and decides to replace his dad with a lion father. Transformed into a lion cub by the powers of the "Great Book of Everything," Stanley learns a lot about lions and eventually decides he'd rather have his own father for a dad. In the second story, "Show and Tell Shark," Stanley asks Dennis the Goldfish for help in finding the best animal to bring to school for show-and-tell. Although he is hurt that he's being overlooked, Dennis accompanies Stanley on his quest to bring in a great white shark. When his encounter with a school of great whites is less fun than Stanley thought it would be, he newly appreciates his diminutive fishy friend. This program is closed-captioned.
