KUMARS AT NO. 42, THE {DONNY OSMOND AND WESTLIFE} {2003 INTERNATIONAL EMMY AWARD} (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about an aspiring talk show host, Sanjeev Kumar, who entertains celebrity guests in a studio built in the garden of his parents' home. In this episode, the first of the third season, Sanjeev invites singer Donny Osmond and boy band Westlife to the house to answer some very unorthodox questions from him and his meddlesome family. The episode begins with the Kumars auditioning musicians to be the new house band. Donny arrives at No. 42, where Sanjeev and the rest of the family question him about the best and worst Osmond brother, the Osmonds' "rivalry" with the Jackson 5, and a recent speeding ticket. Afterward, Donny teaches grandmother Kumar a "phlegm-shifting" Crazy Horse dance. Next, Sanjeev and his family question the Irish musicians Westlife (Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily, and Shane Filan) on the origins of their name, whether they are hungry for some Indian food, and whether they are "ladies' men."
