Summary
Part one of this thriller, adapted from the successful crime stories of Laura Trenter, in which three teens deal with romance, jealousy, and peer pressure during a rash of suspicious fires in their town. In this episode, a fire destroys an abandoned barn where Frida and her new best friend Isabelle smoked cigarettes; the girls assume they accidentally started the blaze and swear each other to secrecy. Unwilling to confide in her former best friend Christoffer, Frida alone bears the guilt and shame for setting the blaze. Later, Frida hears the police discussing bones found in the barn's charred ruins and fears that she and Isabelle inadvertently killed a local schizophrenic man, Mad-Reine, whose moped they saw nearby. Frantic, Frida rides away and is thrown from her bike onto the road.
