Lewis with "Stank Breath"; the Poem-Cees with "Power"; Mutabaruka with "Dis Poem"; Daniel Beatty with "Duality Duel"; Rupert Estanislao with "Empress"; songstress Jill Scott with "Nothing is For Nothing"; and Suheir Hammad with "We Spent the 4th of July in Bed." (Both Black Ice and Suheir performed in the Broadway version of "Def Poetry.)
