MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE: TRAFFIC JAM (TV)
Summary
One in this irreverent comedy series revolving around a precocious middle child who narrates life in his tumultuous and outrageous family. This episode, the series season premiere, picks up where the prior season's finale left off ("Malcolm in the Middle: Water Park" T:80091). On the way back from the water park, Lois, Hal, Reese and Malcolm are caught in a traffic jam caused by a road accident. As they wait for the road to clear, Hal has an existential crisis; Malcolm falls in love; Lois suffers a mental breakdown from her lack of control over the situation; and Reese organizes a heist of an uncooperative ice cream man's stock. In the meantime, Dewy journeys home from the cornfields to which he was led by a flying paper bag, and Frances takes on a dare to eat 100 marshmallow quacks. Commercials deleted.
