CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM: THE 5 WOOD (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series in which producer/comedian Larry David plays a slightly exaggerated version of himself who often ends up embroiled in misunderstandings and social faux pas. In this episode, Larry continues rehearsals for "The Producers" with his new co-star, David Schwimmer. Jeff accuses Larry of "talking gay" after he spends considerable time with the show's effete choreographer. Attempting to be more "manly," Larry hits the links with Jeff, during which he hears about the death of a golfing buddy's father. At the funeral, Larry encounters an ethical dilemma which he attempts to handle delicately. Its resolution, however, leads to a Rube Goldberg-inspired series of mishaps involving Schwimmer's entrepreneurial father, the choreographer's "dreamy" friend and a dog whose bite is definitely worse than his bark.
