Summary
One in this comedy series about Carrie Bradshaw. a single Manhattanite who writes a popular sex-advice column for a newspaper while dishing out dating advice and dirt with her three closest friends. In this episode, part one of a two-part series finale, Carrie is packing up to meet Petrovsky in Paris when she is confronted by Big, who is back in town and ready to renew their relationship. Carrie reacts violently and sends him off quickly, having scheduled a farewell dinner with Miranda, Charlotte, and Samantha before leaving for the airport. Once in Paris, Carrie is overcome at being in the City of Light and seeing Petrovsky again. However, she breaks down when realizing that Petrovsky spends too little time with her and acknowledges that she feels lonely in a country where she doesn't know the language. She calls Miranda and tells her that she'd rather be in Paris with Big. Meanwhile, Big has dinner with Miranda, Charlotte, and Samantha in New York, and he tells them that he loves Carrie. Miranda, who knows Carrie's feelings, advises him to go and find her in Paris.
