GILMORE GIRLS: RORY'S DANCE (TV)
Summary
One in this dramatic series about Lorelai Gilmore, a thirty-something mother raising her teenage daughter Rory under the constant surveillance of her overbearing and very wealthy parents, Emily and Richard. In this episode, Chilton throws a formal dance, but Rory is tentative about attending both because Lorelai can't afford to buy her a dress and because she has no date. Her mother solves the first problem by making a dress, and Lane solves the second by prodding Rory to ask Dean, who accepts. At the dance everything is going swimmingly, until Tristan goads Dean into a fistfight after which Rory and Dean unceremoniously leave. That night the two decide to "officially" become boyfriend and girlfriend before accidentally falling asleep in Miss Patty's yoga studio, sending Lorelai into hysterics. Commercials deleted.
