RESCUE ME: GUTS {SERIES PREMIERE} (TV)
Summary
The pilot in this series of dramas about New York City firehouse Engine 62 and its volatile leader, veteran firefighter Tommy Gavin. Gavin is troubled by lingering effects from the Sept.11, 2001 terrorist attacks, even experiencing visions of firefighting friends who perished. In this episode, psychiatrists are being sent to all the station houses to monitor the firefighters' mental states. Tommy begins to deal with the fact that his estranged wife, Janet, is getting back into the dating game, and he uses a sneaky way to get information about her mysterious suitor. The episode ends with a classic firehouse prank. This program is closed-captioned. Commercials deleted.
