COMEBACK, THE: VALERIE TRIUMPHS AT THE UPFRONTS (TV)
Summary
One in the comedy series about actress Valerie Cherish's comeback to the world of sitcoms, as well as the reality show documenting her professional and personal progress. In this episode, the "Room and Bored" cast has its first photo shoot, with Valerie being framed as far away from her sexy, posing co-stars as possible. Meanwhile, Valerie and Mark examine the refurbishments made to their water-damaged wall. Also, Valerie worries how Mark and her step-daughter Francesca will cope while she is in New York for the network "upfronts." Heading to New York, Valerie finds that the network hasn't paid for a seat for Mickey, forcing her to pay for the ticket herself. On the flight, "The Comeback"'s crew begins interviewing Juna, upsetting camera hog Valerie, who tries to make sure that she is always the focus. That night, the rest of the show's cast seems to ditch Valerie for dinner plans, forcing Valerie to stay in for the night. Valerie feels that she needs "a bit" for her upfront appearance. As the upfronts arrive, Valerie finds herself worried about being upstaged by her attractive co-stars. Ultimately, Valerie isn't part of the "Room and Bored" introduction with her co-stars, but is brought to stage during the presentation of "The Comeback." However, she doesn't get to say a word, despite having prepared a speech.
