JERICHO: SEMPER FIDELIS (TV)

Summary

One in this dramatic science-fiction series about life in a tiny Kansas town after a terrorist-created nuclear disaster.

In this episode, Ridley presses for everyone to move out of Jericho as supplies continue to be depleted. Mayor Anderson faces the same tough decision but believes the best decision is to force the newest refugees to leave town. Things change dramatically when a detachment of the United States Marines arrives to help rebuild.

The marines surprise everyone in isolated Jericho by claiming that the United States has just won the war with Iran and North Korea -- those supposedly responsible for the nuclear disaster -- and that the new ad hoc capital of the United States is Columbus, Ohio. The marines also claim that electricity will soon be restored to Jericho. Asked to help a female marine locate supplies, Jake finds himself flirting with her.

Other citizens, however, begin to suspect that the situation isn't quite what it seems, especially when former Army Ranger Johnston Green notices some inconsistencies with the marines' behavior. When the marines receive orders to return to their command center in Dodge City, officials step up their investigation, unearthing some frightening revelations.

In the meantime, an equally daunting standoff occurs in the Hawkins' household between Sarah Mason and Robert Hawkins over a purloined handheld device and a mysterious "package." Commercials deleted.
