AS THE WORLD TURNS {RAVEN LAKE MASSACRE} (TV)
Summary
One in this long-running daytime serial, set in the midwestern town of Oakdale. In this episode, the teens scramble from the camp in the bus, leaving Maddie behind and at the mercy of the slasher. While on the bus, Ada and Ian debate whether they should have saved Maddie, noting that people always seem to die when she's around. Meanwhile, back in Oakdale, Tom and Margo wonder why they haven't heard from Casey back at Raven Lake. Also, Henry and the police go through a list of "unconfirmed sightings" of Louis, hoping to bring him in for murder. Eventually, Will is able to rescue Gwen and Ian comes back for Maddie. However, Ian doesn't want to rescue Maddie but rather make her pay for her past. Before Ian can kill her though, she runs away -- as Louis watches from a distance. Meanwhile, Will and Gwen hole up in a dark cabin where she asks for his forgiveness. Back in Oakdale, Henry wonders why he hasn't heard from Eve or Maddie in a while, especially after he learns that they may be "vulnerable" to a further attack from Louis. Ian continues his oar-wielding pursuit of Maddie, until he eventually winds up dead himself -- a victim of the slasher. Then, Maddie returns to Casey's seemingly lifeless body, where she is attacked by Louis before getting away. Back in Oakdale, Tom, Margo, Henry, and Jack are told by Dallas of the ongoing slasher attacks killing teens at Raven Lake. Ultimately, Louis corners Maddie and -- just on the verge of revealing who the true killer is -- he, too, is stabbed. Maddie is left face-to-face with the killer. Commercials deleted.
