BROTHERS & SISTERS: THE OTHER WALKER (TV)

Summary

One in this drama series about the California-based Walker family, an adult clan of siblings trying to live up to their parents' lofty expectations after the death of the family patriarch.

In this episode, Senator McCallister reconsiders his potential run for president, while Kitty thinks that they can actually be a "normal" couple. Meanwhile, Saul finally meets Rebecca while Rebecca continues wondering how her mother Holly has become affluent so quickly. Soon, Saul, Sarah, and Tommy are discussing the significance of Rebecca in their lives. Nora seems impressed with Justin's current love Tyler, but Justin worries whether Tyler's parents will like him.

Chad shows Dan Silk's Hollywood gossip website to Kevin, with that day's article appearing to have outed both of them. Now Chad feels the two will need to lay even lower, though Kevin feels otherwise, thinking they should file a lawsuit against Dan. At a dinner together, Nora tells Saul that she's finally coming around to Holly, now that Holly is dating Saul and starting a company with Tommy. However, Nora is furious when Sauls tells her about Rebecca. Kitty and Justin are likewise stunned.

Without Chad's permission, Kevin goes after Dan, though he never exactly denies that Chad is gay. That night, Kitty and Robert double-date with Sarah and Joe, enduring a meal that is rife with tension. Meanwhile, Justin doesn't show up to meet Tyler's family that evening, instead going out with his sponsor. Later that night, Kitty discusses her feelings about sisterhood with the senator, addressing her emotions for both Sarah and Rebecca. Meanwhile, Sarah wonders to Joe why everyone is so mad at her.

The next day, Rebecca arrives at the Ojai offices and Sarah gets to meet her for the first time. They then have a long talk behind closed doors. Going home, Rebecca wonders why her mom has lied to her over the years, subsequently discovering that two million dollars has been left in a trust for her. Eventually, Chad learns that Kevin called Dan, now understanding why the gossipmonger continues gunning for them. Meanwhile, Holly charges into Ojai to confront Sarah, angry that she revealed the cruel truth to Rebecca. She also breaks up with Saul. Finally, Sarah wonders why her mother holds her to a tougher standard than her other children, and Justin -- after breaking up with Tyler -- goes to meet Rebecca for the first time. Includes commercials.
