
CHRISTMAS IN VIETNAM (TV)
Summary
Charles Kuralt goes to South Vietnam, to "300 yards of
front line near the Iron Triangle" to interview members
of the Third Platoon, "A" company, Second Battalion of
the Second Infantry stationed there. Kuralt speaks with
Sgt. Ralph Bossolay and shows a videotape of his family
back in California. Includes a display and discussion
of mines and snipers, and a skirmish in which one of the
men is killed. Closes with a shot of the Christmas
service. Includes commercials.
