WASHINGTON: BEHIND CLOSED DOORS {EPISODE 2} (TV)
Summary
The second episode of this special political drama based loosely on John Ehrlichman's novel "The Company." President-elect Monckton names Carl Tessler as head of the National Security Council. Monckton delivers his inauguration speech, and his aides discuss how to handle press relations. As they become increasingly nervous, his press secretary and long-time friend is fired as chief aide Frank Flaherty gains complete control over access to the president. Includes commercials.
