WASHINGTON: BEHIND CLOSED DOORS {EPISODE 6} (TV)
Summary
The sixth and last episode of this special political drama based loosely on John Ehrlichman's novel, "The Company." In this portion, the CIA becomes aware of the administration's illegal wiretapping, CIA director Martin meets with Monckton to bribe him into destroying the incriminating primula report, and Monckton's men devise a plan to gain access to secret files. Martin is made ambassador to Jamaica as part of his deal with Monckton. Monckton hears of his forthcoming invitation to China, just before news breaks out of his aides' being caught trying to confiscate secret files illegally. Includes commercials.
