Summary
The first episode of this historical drama miniseries based on the life of Elizabeth I of England. This premiere episode follows Elizabeth's precarious situation after the death of Edward VI and during the reign of Catholic Mary Tudor. Elizabeth receives Catholic instruction to ingratiate herself with the jealous Mary. Philip of Spain, whom Mary Tudor wants to marry, is more attracted to Elizabeth and will not live with Mary. Subsequently, Mary dies.
