KRAFT 75TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL (TV)
Summary
A variety special saluting Kraft's seventy-fifth anniversary. Leslie Uggams sings a medley of Al Jolson hits and Bob Hope talks with Hal Peary and Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy. Milton Berle and Hope reminisce and appear as housewives. Clips from "The Kraft Music Hall" include Bobby Darin, Stevie Wonder, Dionne Warwick, and Burt Bacharach. Alan King delivers a monologue and Donna McKechnie dances. Other clips include Woody Allen, Liza Minnelli, Johnny Carson, and Jimmy Durante. Clark sings several country songs.
Roy Clark sings a medley of country songs and Bob Hope presents clips from "Kraft Television Theatre," featuring Warren Beatty, Everett Sloane, Richard Kiley, James Dean, Lee Remick, Elizabeth Montgomery, Walter Matthau, George C. Scott, and Jack Lemmon. Includes a look at a Barry Manilow special and closes with a clip from a Perry Como show with Bing Crosby. Includes commercials.
