Summary
One in this series of weekly vaudeville-inspired variety programs. Guest host Louis "Satchmo" Armstrong presides over this program which salutes his 50th anniversary in the entainment industry. Congratulations from performing unions and from President Johnson are read by Edward G. Robinson. Acts include Armstrong singing "Hello, Dolly!," The Ballet Folklorico of Mexico, Durante and Carroll singing, and a comedy sketch with Rowan and Martin. Armstrong performs "When the Saints Go Marching In," "Mack the Knife," and "Ol' Man Time." Includes commercials.
