ANOTHER WORLD {WILLIS' TRIP OUT OF TOWN LEAVES TWO WOMEN CONFUSED} (TV)
Summary
One in this daytime serial set in the fictional town of Bay City, Illinois. In this episode, both Pat and John find out that Michael and Marianne plan to move back home to keep their father company during his divorce. Michael tells Pat that he waits for the day when the entire family will be reunited under one roof. Pat warns him that she is not necessarily ready to rekindle her relationship with John, however, particularly since Olive is not likely to accept the divorce without a fight. Alice is also pursuing a divorce from Ray, even though Willis has surprised her by leaving town on a trip and Alice is no longer sure what his intentions are towards her. Angie is equally puzzled by Willis's abrupt departure. As she tells Ada, Angie suspects that Willis left because she tried to make him jealous with the help of his brother Vince. To make matters worse, it now appears that Vince has fallen for her, even though she is in love with his brother. Meanwhile, Liz is feeling isolated because after months of prying into everyone's personal affairs she finds that people are beginning to shun her. Russ tells her bluntly not to meddle in his engagement with Gwen, and Alice asks her not to question Willis's intentions. Finally, Pat's hesitation to become involved with John is reinforced by a strange conversation with his secretary. Includes commercials, promos, and a "Newscenter 39" update.
