Summary
One in this series of irregularly scheduled dramas.This is the second television production of William Gibson's drama based on the true life story of Helen Keller. Annie Sullivan, a Boston governess, is hired in 1886 to care for Helen Keller, the blind and deaf child of a well-to-do Alabama family. After successfully teaching Helen table manners, Annie sets out to teach the child sign language but must first overcome Helen's willfulness and her parents' desires to indulge her. Includes commercials.
