
ABC THEATRE: THE LAST TENANT (TV)
Summary
One in this series of irregularly scheduled dramas. This drama is about an independent old man and his struggle to remain independent. Widower Frank Russo, seventy-six years old, lives alone, his four children having grown up and moved away to live their own lives. In this portion, Frank's son, Joey wants to hire a housekeeper to care for his father, but Frank insists he can take care of himself.
Later, Frank suffers a stroke. His children cannot take him into their homes, but he cannot live alone anymore, either. They decide to put him into a home for the aged. Frank refuses to go. Commercials deleted.
