ABC AFTERSCHOOL SPECIAL: MY MOM'S HAVING A BABY (TV)
Summary
One in this series of dramas intended for young audiences. In this production, a 10-year-old boy, Petey, recounts his experiences in the months before his little brother was born. Petey remembers how the coming of a new baby caused many changes in his life and how he and his friends attempted to figure out where babies come from. Luckily, Petey's doctor -- played by real-life pediatrician Dr. Lendon Smith -- showed them an animated film explaining reproduction and birth, and answered all their questions. At the end of the program, footage is included of the actress playing Petey's mother giving birth to her real-life child. Includes commercials, promos, and public service announcements.
