Summary
One in this series of programs for young children, hosted by Fred Rogers, which uses puppets and music to teach patience and cooperation, while providing guidance to help children cope with feelings and frustrations. This program is one of five episodes about superheroes. The program begins with Mister Rogers singing "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" He then demonstrates the creative and expressive qualities of wooden blocks, and he visits Bob Trow's workshop, where the blocks were made. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, where hand-puppet characters interact with humans in the mythical kingdom of King Friday XIII, dinosaurs and monsters are discussed. Mister Rogers then sings "Only Birds and Bats and Bugs Can Fly" and concludes the program with another song.
