Summary
The first hour of episode four of this eight-hour series of historical dramas based on the life and times of Ned Kelly and his band of outlaws, and their rebellion against the poverty and oppression of colonial Australia in the 1870s. In this episode, the Kelly gang embarks upon open confrontation with the colonial government up in the hills, the gang establishes the Republic of North Eastern Victoria.
