Highlights of this Christmas concert include the following: the Choral Arts Society sings "Joy to the World"; Leontyne Price sings "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" and "Angels We Have Heard on High" with the Choral Arts Society, and sings "O Jesulein Suess" ("O Sweet Little Jesus") alone; flutist Paula Robison and guitarist Eliot Fisk perform a French carol, "He Is Born, the Holy Child," "Greensleeves," and "Silent Night"; Price and the Choral Arts Society sing "He Shall Feed His Flock like a Shepherd" and "His Yoke Is Easy" from George Frideric Handel's "Messiah"; intermission program on a sing-along "Messiah" performance at the Kennedy Center; Norman Scribner and the Choral Arts Society perform Richard Dirksen's "Welcome All Wonders"; and Price sings "Mary Had a Baby" and "O Holy Night" with the Choral Arts Society, and sings "Sweet Little Jesus Boy" a cappella.
