Summary

The third in this series of four musical variety specials hosted by Frank Sinatra and sponsored by Timex. Highlights of this program include the following: Sinatra begins the program by singing "Here's to the Ladies"; comedienne Barbara Heller jokes with Sinatra and performs her impressions of Bette Davis and Tallulah Bankhead; Sinatra sings "I've Got You Under My Skin"; soprano Mary Costa sings Bizet's "Ouvre Ton Coeur"; Heller sings and dances a comic ballet to "By Strauss"; Lena Horne sings "Ring the Bell"; Juliet Prowse and chorus sing and dance to "Come Cha Cha with Me" to the tune of "Come Dance with Me"; Sinatra signs "Lonely Town"; Horne sings "But Beautiful" and "From This Moment On"; Horne and Sinatra sing a medley of Harold Arlen songs, including "It's Only a Paper Moon," "One For My Baby," "Mister In-Between," "Stormy Weather," "Get Happy," and "Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea"; Sinatra sings "My Heart Stood Still"; Costa sings "I Love You So"; Heller sings "Afraid of Love"; Horne sings "My Heart Belongs to Daddy"; Prowse dances to a ballet of "My Funny Valentine"; Eleanor Roosevelt discusses her philosophy of life with Sinatra and she recites "High Hopes"; and Sinatra concludes by singing goodnight.
