CORONET BLUE: THE FLIP SIDE OF TIMMY DEVON {SERIES FINALE} (TV)

Summary

One in this drama series about the adventures of a man who loses his memory after an attempt on his life, and his efforts to uncover the truth about his past. Calling himself Michael Alden, he remembers only the words "coronet blue," and believes they may hold a clue to his identity, as well as to the unknown assailants who may still be after him.

In this episode, Michael grows curious when he realizes he knows all the lyrics to the new record by Timmy Devon, a young singer who died recently in a motorcycle accident and has now become an icon to millions of teens. Pretending to be a journalist, Michael visits with local disc jockey Big Hart and the head of Fab Records, Vic Brunswick. Michael explains his situation to them, but gets precious little help.

Suspecting foul play, Michael and his friend Tony dig deeper, earning Tony a beating at the hands of Brunswick's thugs. After several attempts to get the truth out of the slippery Brunswick, Mike and Tony visit the record executive's assistant Polly and learn the surprising truth about the death of Timmy Devon.
