Summary
One in this comedy series about the life of a young man named Dobie Gillis. In this episode, Dobie falls for a girl in his science class, who is obsessed with parenthood. Dobie wins her heart when he manages to convince her that being a parent is just as important to him as it is to her. Unfortunately, when Dobie lets it slip that his father is a cruel miser, she says they must part because, as they learned in science class, traits are passed on from one generation to the next and she does not want to wind up with cruel children. Dobie decides to work hard for his father in order to please him so that he will be kind and generous, but his plan backfires. Commercials deleted.
