Summary

One in this series of comedy/variety programs. Highlights of this program include: Berle jokes with Billy May and his band who then perform "Alexander's Ragtime Band"; gospel singer Mahalia Jackson performs "Somebody Bigger Than You and I"; Harpo Marx plays "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles" and "Hold That Tiger" on the clarinet as Milton Berle conducts the orchestra; and Marx plays "Tenderly" on the harp. Includes commercials and a promo. (This is a black-and-white copy of a color telecast.) (This program contains minor technical problems. This represents the best copy currently available to the Museum.)

("The Kraft Music Hall," a variety program hosted by Milton Berle and sponsored by Kraft Foods, aired on NBC from 1958 to 1959. From 1959 to 1963 Kraft continued to sponsor musical variety programs under a variety of titles associated with their hosts such as Perry Como and Dave King. "The Kraft Music Hall" returned from 1967 to 1971 hosted by a different celebrity guest each week.)
