Gina Hemphill, granddaughter of Jesse Owens, who won four track-and-field gold medals at the 1936 Olympic Summer Games in Berlin, carries the torch into the Los Angeles Track and Field Coliseum and hands it off to Rafer Johnson, who won the silver at the 1956 Olympic Summer Games in Melbourne and the gold at the 1960 Olympic Summer Games in Rome for the decathlon.
