BULLWINKLE SHOW, THE: LAST ANGRY MOOSE (TV)
Summary
Two episodes in this animated series about two friends -- a gormless moose named Bullwinkle and an intelligent flying squirrel named Rocky -- and their frequent encounters with their arch enemies, Soviet spies Boris Badenov and Natasha. In the first episode, Bullwinkle decides that he is a fantastic actor and travels to Hollywood to embark on a career in the entertainment industry. He takes along his mattress, filled with his life savings. Boris and Natasha spot his wealth and decide to take full advantage of the moose's ignorance in order to fleece him. Other highlights of this program include the following segments: Bullwinkle attempts to pull a rabbit out of his hat, but as usual learns the importance of keeping a neat home as his father tells the tale of two tigers who never cleaned up after themselves; Mr. Know It demonstrates how to fix a flat tire; in "Dudley Do-Right of the Mounties," Nell goes into show business and unknowingly helps Sydley in his fiendish deeds; and in "Bullwinkle's Corner," the famous moose performs his own version of "Sing a Song of Sixpence." In the second episode, Boris and Natasha take advantage of Bullwinkle's dream of becoming a famous actor by making him the producer of his own film. Other highlights of this program include the following segments: in "Fractured Fairy Tales: The Princess and the Goblins," a mine worker learns the importance and benefits of knowing rhymes; Mr. Know It All demonstrates how to avoid tipping a waiter; in "Mr. Peabody's Improbable History," the intelligent canine takes Sherman back in time to see Cornwallis surrender to General Washington, but is shocked when he discovers that the events of the past are not going according to plan; in "Bullwinkle's Corner," Bullwinkle recites a poem about his grandfather's clock.
