FAWLTY TOWERS: GOURMET NIGHT (TV)
Summary
One in this situation comedy series about Fawlty Towers, a small resort hotel run by Basil Fawlty, an incompetent bumbler. In this episode, Basil hires a new chef, Kurt, on the recommendation of his friend, AndrŽ, who is also a chef. Basil decides to have a "gourmet night" at the hotel, to which he will invite important, affluent people to dine off a special gourmet menu prepared by Kurt. Complications arise when Kurt gets drunk and is unable to prepare the evening's menu. As the guests wait impatiently to be served, Basil frantically tries to bring food from André's restaurant to the hotel.
